Dear North Shorians,
After much thought, prayer, and counsel, we have decided to not open for onsite worship until the numbers in our county begin to decline.
This decision was not made lightly. We are monitoring the trends in the infection rate locally.Hays, Bexar, Comal and Guadalupe Counties are reporting the highest percentage increase in Infection rate for COVID-19. Click here to view trends chart from Texas DSHS.
Like you, we are greatly disappointed that we cannot meet together for onsite worship. Please continue to worship with us online in this manner until we feel safe to resume onsite worship. We will keep you informed.
We are praying for all of you and our most vulnerable populations are of utmost concern.
Our first and primary goal in our Wesleyan tradition is to “Do No Harm.” Please stay safe. There are increasing numbers of people visiting our area for recreational purposes who are not practicing social distancing.
I ask that you continue to support North Shore by your tithe and offerings either through the mail or through our website. We have been very blessed by your support during this difficult season.
Remember the Apostle Paul’s words that mark a true Christian. Romans 12:10-13 “Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and extend hospitality to strangers.”
