COVID-19 Update:

Brothers and sisters, thank you for your patience, understanding, and compassion for one other as we continue to navigate COVID’s impact on our world.  With the recent delta surge, we did not require, but “strongly encouraged” masks.  As the COVID numbers have slowed down, we are moving forward as well.  With any decision or recommendation, we want for NSUMC to be a place where all feel welcome and safe.  While we will no longer “strongly encourage” masks, if wearing a mask makes you feel more comfortable and willing to join us in person for worship and other events, then please continue to wear them.

I also want to remind and encourage all of us to be considerate of one another’s needs and preferences with regard to social distance and things like hugs, handshakes, and physical proximity.  We all have varying levels of comfort with these things and the variables are different for each of us.

I’m grateful for the ways you love and care for one another.  As ones who follow Jesus, let us continue to love one another well so that the world around us knows who we are and experiences the love of Christ through us.

With a grateful heart,

Pastor Sheri
