Tannah Chase

Hello! I am a native Texan, born and raised in Houston, now living the Hill Country life. When I am not singing at North Shore, I am a wife, mother, and clinical psychologist. I manage a psychology practice in New Braunfels, where I specialize in helping people struggling with all forms of anxiety and trauma. I believe that this was my calling and, by helping people overcome anxiety, I also help them increase their faith. I have a toddler-aged son, who seems to love music just like his mama (especially the drums). In my free time, I enjoy nature and spending time with family. I have been attending North Shore since about 2019. I began singing in the band later that year, which eventually led to my becoming the praise band leader. Before singing in the praise band at North Shore, it had been at least a decade since I last sang in public. Music was a passion of mine that had unfortunately gotten buried underneath my career aspirations in psychology and previous workaholism for many years. When I first started singing at North Shore, it was, no-doubt, scary and vulnerable at first, but it was also like finding a part of my soul that had been missing… God is great… After that, I became passionate about helping people connect to God through music. I believe that God gave us music for that purpose, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to sing and lead the praise band at North Shore.
