SENIOR PASTOR
Rev. Sheri Clifton is the Senior Pastor at North Shore United Methodist Church. Prior to joining the NSUMC pastoral staff in 2021, Sheri served as Executive Pastor for Worship at Bethany and Associate Pastor of Buda UMC. Sheri is a graduate of Southwestern University and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She is married to Daniel and they have two sons, Luke and Zach. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and reading.
Minister of Congregational Care
Jimmy brings over 50 years of experience in supervision and management to his role, grounded in his service as a lay minister. His deep respect for the contributions of every individual fuels his commitment to Jesus' commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves. In 2007, Jimmy and his wife, Janeil, moved to Canyon Lake after careers in Houston. He feels privileged to serve the congregation and community and is often found in the church kitchen, serving coffee and talking sports.

ADMINISTRATOR
Tiffany grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She is married to Frank and they have 6 kids, 2 daughters-in-law and several grandchildren. She has an Associate’s Degree in Business Management, and loves handling the finances and working with people. Tiffany enjoys taking mission trips. With her time here at North Shore, she has coordinated multiple mission trips to Dominican Republic and Juarez, Mexico. In her free time she enjoys spending time traveling with her family.
Student Ministry Director
Melissa is from Abilene, Texas and is a recent graduate of Abilene Christian University. She is currently a resident with CYMT and attending seminary at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary where she will be gaining her masters in youth ministry. In Melissa's free time she enjoys painting, hiking, and traveling.
Helen K. Miers is a Texas native with a rich background in music education. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a Master’s from McNeese State University, with further studies at LSU. Helen taught music for 32 years, including roles as Choir Director at McCallum High School, where her choir won the 2015 GRAMMY National Signature School Award. Since retiring, she’s served as a consultant, accompanist, and voice teacher, continuing her passion for music and education.
KIDS COVE DIRECTOR
Sarah Montoya is a passionate early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience. She has spent the last 12 years working as an integral part of a management team including as Director while raising four fun and lively children with her husband. One of Sarah’s highest goals in life is to build confidence in those around her with unwavering kindness, while working with others to lay a foundation in each child’s life, enabling them to grow into confident and well-rounded individuals. Her desire is to build a team that will work together effectively to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment. Being here at Kids Cove has been a tremendous blessing for herself, as well as her family. Kids Cove has a truly amazing team, one that Sarah feels honored to be a part of.
Dedra Gaydos has been in child care for over 15 years and has a deep passion for helping children grow and succeed. She started as a Pre-K teacher and then moved on to be an Assistant Director as well a Curriculum Coordinator. She has two children who have also attended Kids Cove. They love to watch all of the deer roam in their yard and neighborhood. Dedra is originally from Louisianna, but Texas is her home now. She feels so blessed to be a part of such a great community. Dedra is so excited to be at Kids Cove and working with such a great team. The environment at Kids Cove is exceptional and she is looking forward to making many more memories here.
Kathy serves as the Children's Director at North Shore. Prior to joining North Shore, Kathy taught deaf/hard of hearing students of varying ages as well as kindergarten students for 35 years in Fairfax, VA and Houston, TX. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and the University of Virginia. Kathy is married to Jon and have a dog named, Bluebell. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking with Jon and Bluebell, and traveling.
Juliana serves as the Communications Director for North Shore. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and lived in Austin for the past five years. She recently completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at St. Edward's University and is currently pursuing her Master's. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in nature with her schnauzer, creating art in various mediums, usually acrylic paint, and learning new things.
