REV. SHERI CLIFTON

SENIOR PASTOR


Rev. Sheri Clifton is the Senior Pastor at North Shore United Methodist Church. Prior to joining the NSUMC pastoral staff in 2021, Sheri served as Executive Pastor for Worship at Bethany and Associate Pastor of Buda UMC. Sheri is a graduate of Southwestern University and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She is married to Daniel and they have two sons, Luke and Zach. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and reading.

TIFFANY HODGE

ADMINISTRATOR

Tiffany grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She is married to Frank and they have 6 kids, 2 daughters-in-law and 3 grandchildren. She has an Associate’s Degree in Business Management, and loves handling the finances and working with people. Having been with NSUMC for 6 years, she has coordinated multiple mission trips to Dominican Republic and Juarez, Mexico. She is also the secretary for the Hays Praise Emmaus board.  Serving God and family is her greatest joy.

Melissa Huffines

Student Ministry Director

Melissa is from Abilene, Texas and is a recent graduate of Abilene Christian University. She is currently a resident with CYMT and attending seminary at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary where she will be gaining her masters in youth ministry. In Melissa's free time she enjoys painting, hiking, and traveling. 

Connor Lucas

CHILDREN’S DIRECTOR

Connor Lucas is the NSUMC Children’s director. He grew up in a little bit of everywhere in South and South Central Texas. Connor served as the Children, Youth and Family Vicar at Emanuel’s Lutheran Church in Seguin prior to joining the NSUMC staff. He is a graduate of Texas Lutheran University with a Bachelors of Arts in Theology. Connor is attending Dallas Theology Seminary where he will be obtaining a Masters in Theology. In his free time he goes fly fishing, disc golfing and hammocking.

TANNAH CHASE

PRAISE BAND LEADER

Tannah Chase is the praise band worship leader at NSUMC. She was born and raised in Houston, now living the Texas Hill Country life with her husband and toddler-aged son. When not singing at North Shore, she is a clinical psychologist, serving the New Braunfels and surrounding areas, where she specializes in helping people who struggle with all forms of anxiety and trauma. Tannah is passionate about helping people connect to God through music. In her free-time, she enjoys being in nature and spending time with family

SARAH MONTOYA

KIDS COVE DIRECTOR

Hi! My name is Sarah Montoya and I am a passionate early childhood educator with over 16 years of experience. I have spent the last 6 years working as an integral part of a management team including as Director while raising four fun and lively children with my husband. One of my highest goals in life is to build confidence in those around me with unwavering kindness while working with others to lay a foundation in each child’s life, enabling them to grow into confident and well-rounded individuals. 

My desire is to build a team that will work together effectively to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment. Being here at Kids Cove has been a tremendous blessing for myself as well as my family. We have a truly amazing team, one that I feel honored to be a part of. Welcome to Kids Cove!

DEDRA GAYDOS

KIDS COVE ASSIST DIRECTOR

My name is Dedra Gaydos and I am the Assistant Director at Kids Cove. I have been in child care for over 10 years and have a deep passion for helping children grow and succeed. I spent the first 7 years as a Pre-K teacher and then the last 3-4 years I have been an Assistant Director as well as a Curriculum Coordinator. I have two children who I enjoy spending my free time with. My children love to see all the deer in our yard and neighborhood. We are originally from Louisiana, but Texas is our home now. This is such a beautiful place to raise my children. I am so excited to be here and to be working with such a great team! The environment at Kids Cove is exceptional. I look forward to making many more memories here!
