Reading Circle
- 1st Thursday of the Month - 1:11 PM
- Location: Youth Room
UMW supports local and world ministries such as:
- CRRC Food Bank (Community Resource and Recreation Center),
- Hope Ministries
- God’s Child
- New Life Children’s Center
- Provisions
- Holding Institute
- New Braunfels Food Bank
Fundraising events include:
- Mystic Shores Craft Fair
- United Methodist Men’s BBQ
- New Braunfels Quilt Festival
Creative Hands also contributes items for church ministries such as Emmaus retreat book covers and confirmation blankets for the youth.
Other projects UMW volunteers assist with are the backpack ministry, youth group snacks and preparing hygiene kits for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief).
Fellowship events such as the summer picnic, Christmas party and local retreats (thru United Methodist Churches) provide opportunity to gather with old and new friends alike.
